Q

FOR THE past three years I have enjoyed driving a company-owned Subaru Outback, which I perceive as a quality vehicle that would suit me when I soon retire. I have budgeted $20,000 to $25,000 to purchase a car, should I purchase a new model, or look for a used Outback or Liberty in that price range?

A

If you like the Outback then I would go for that, you should be able to get a 2007 model within your budget, but if you shopped for a new car you would be restricted to an Impreza at best in the Subaru range.
