Blind spot ratings

    The 2010 Citroen C4 Picasso was one of the two cars that recieved a 4 star rating.

The RACV has ranked new vehicles for driver visibility in its Car Blindspot Rating.

The vehicles are ranked out of five stars, with five being the highest rating. None score five stars.

The vehicles with a FOUR star rating are:

1. Volkswagen Golf (Hatch and Wagon) Oct 2010.
2. Citroen C4 Picasso (4 door wagon) May 2007.

  • I hope these ratings tests include the visibility of how a driver can see left and right along a footpath when they back or reverse a vehicle from a domestic driveway to see a child (or children) scootering, riding a bike or walking along a footpath to school in the morning?Many vehicles reverse out of driveways or properties with high fences, and/or bushes that make it impossible to see if anyone is coming along the footpath. Why can’t car manufacturers add sideways looking cameras that activate when in ‘R’everse. It would help all drivers who struggle to see or ‘know’ what is coming, and protect our children!
