  • I would have an AUDI any day of the week. At least it doesn’t drop 30K over night from looking at it.

  • Having purchased a Senator in 2007 all I can say is what a car for its $80k. MRC, traction control etc makes for a performance car that needs a $300k plus European car to match it! Hey those brakes are even better than the acceleration.A more fuel efficient 6.2l V8 seems a contradiction in terms but hey, whatever.Just wish the little finishing touches were there, like; decent fitting skirts, and the front dam 3cm higher so I dont keep scratching the thing. And oh yeah, you can patch up and repair the front dam, so buggar paying $2500 to replace each time. Should cost $800 max!! I’ll have another one for sure!

  • 70,000 for a bmw…i just dont get it.

This car is much more worth the price than say…a BMW 3 series with a 2.5 litre 6 with 160kw and no features in it what so ever.

Even when top gear uk do a test to show how good this car is for value for money people with the badge disease still decide to blindly believe that there pathetic i mean pathetic BMW is in comparison in perhaps everything but build quality.

  • Personally, I think this is a great looking vehicle. It is modern, grunty and no doubt a great drive just like the rest o the VE Commodore range. Not everyone wants wings that attempt to scream performance, or a FWD econo box coffin from Toyota. Some people still enjoy driving. Perhaps that market is shrinking, but that is more a reflection of people focusing more on how they look these days, than how they perform.
As for the push rod being dead, Dan, why don’t you check how Fords DOHC V8 is going these days. And it’s not a limo ya nonce.

Lord. Have we all become such saps?

P.S. Audis south of 100k are boring as bat $#!T

  • It should be so lucky to be considered by some to look similar to an Audi. Considering the Audi are far better cars. Not just in the looks department. Personally I can’t see the resemblance to Audi what so ever. I probably am wrong as I am not wearing my glasses at present. But I know a POS when I see one. And this car is a big piece of S#*t.

  • For what you get in this package, looks like great value. Unsure about the Senator in bright red. Regardless, heading toward 3 years this design still lokks great. Lastly, please send us the LPG version soon.

  • The limited production run is appropriate considering the limited market for such dinosaurs.  Holden, the limo is dead.  So are pushrods (has this one clicked? Still 30 years late).  We don’t like Daewoos, even when badged as Holdens.  From our beloved country’s produce, give me a Ford.

  • Don’t like it…. looks like an audi.  Where oh where have all the designs gone?, where oh where can they be???
We had Torana’s and Premiers and Kingswoods and Commodores…. seems they been stuck in a rutt since the 90’s.
Where has the Unique Designers gone I wonder…
