The world’s most sought-after calendar could be yours.

Only 10,000 copies of the Pirelli Calendar are printed each year, and it’s not for sale. The calendar is only ever given away, with the mailing list held as a closely-guarded secret, and only 238 will come to Australia.

Carsguide has managed to get hold of one of those, and together with Pirelli, is offering the chance to win it.

As usual, it features beautiful girls, but this year they have been put in some bizarre situations, in one case in tears with a huge insect crawling on the model’s face.

To enter Carsguide’s calendar competition, tell us if you think the 2009 Pirelli Calendar is beautiful or bizarre – and why. The best comment before January 16 will win the calendar, a couple of early examples of which have already sold on ebay for around $1000.

I think "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is the most over-used sentence in the comments. It's so cliche, boring & it should be banned.

The picture is so much beautiful as impressions on the face are beautiful . Its a thirst to be someone . i would like to keep it in my heart

I think the calendar is a mixture of may things. Individuals will view it according to their tastes and foibles. I think the models have to be very accomodating to go through what appears to be difficult photographic sessions to produce a calendar hat surely is one of a kind.

well i can tell 90% of winners are men and my real comment didnt matter lots of suck ups to pirell i would only put your calendar in my toliet walls

This format of calender personifies the Pirelli types as victorious in all aspects of design. Pirelli challenges other participants by using it's portrayal via a magnificent birth of beauty on the 2009 calender. A combination of Nature and Beauty at an ultimate level of excellence superior to all.
