NewsText - PITSTOPS Famous in Milwaukee

RYAN Briscoe was a battling second when the Indy Racing League returned to business at Milwaukee, losing to Kiwi Scott Dixon. Briscoe was on track for back-to-back wins at the Milwaukee Mile until Dixon jumped him and went on to a win and move to the top of the points table. Briscoe is second in the title race.

Ricciardo's rocky heat

DANIEL Ricciardo still leads the British Formula 3 championship despite two troubled races at Rockingham last weekend. He qualified fastest for the first heat but crashed and finished fifth in the second.

A score of finishes

MARCOS Ambrose was 20th in one of the toughest races on the Nascar circuit, the Monster Mile at Dover. He finished where he started in a race won by defending champion Jimmie Johnson and is 20th in the standings.

Reed third in AMA

SUPERCROSS superstar Chad Reed leapt a place in the AMA Motocross series at Sacramento, California, last weekend. Reed was third on his Suzuki 450, after a fourth in the opening race, and is now third in the standings.
