Reed can't be beaten
CHAD Reed has added another big success to his career, winning the AMA Pro Motocross championship last weekend with four races of the series yet to run. His 1-2 result at the Budds Creek course means the Rockstar Suzuki rider cannot be beaten in the 450cc class.
Home advantage win
JONATHON Webb used a home-track advantage to help him sweep the three Fujitsu Series races on the V8 Supercar program at Queensland Raceway. The Ford Falcon driver trumped David Russell and James Moffat to move narrowly ahead of the same pair in the championship standings.
Briscoe back on top
RYAN Briscoe has regained the lead in the topsy-turvy Indy Racing League championship after finishing second for the seventh time this year to Dario Franchitti in the latest leg, at Infineon Raceway in California. Briscoe was only 0.2488 seconds behind at the flag.
Davison holds third
JAMES Davison picked up another solid result in the Indy Lights series in the US last weekend, finishing third in the IRL supporting event at Infineon Raceway near San Francisco. This keeps him third in the Lights championship.
Sprinting to two wins
JIM Richards scored his first round win in the Biante Touring Car Masters by taking his Ford Falcon Sprint to wins from two of three starts at Queensland Raceway last weekend.
