A weekly wrap of motorsport from around the world.

KIMI Raikkonen rolled and former world champion Petter Solberg was second, but otherwise there was a predictable outcome to Rally Mexico last weekend. Sebastian Loeb won again for Citroen, his 55th World Rally Championship victory and a result that moves him into the lead for this year's world title.

SIR Stirling Moss, 80, is recovering in hospital in London after a fall at his home. He broke both ankles when he fell down an open lift shaft in his multi-storey apartment.

MARK Eddy has landed an Audi R8 LMS supercar to race in this year's Australian GT series. Eddy has left much of the Audi's carbon-fibre bodywork exposed as he prepares the car for its debut this weekend in the Clipsal 500 meeting.

A "MERCY flight"' from Italy by two Alfa Romeo staff will ensure the ex-Fangio 1951 Alfetta 159 is in action at the Phillip Island Classic Festival of Motor Sport. The original factory driver was a late withdrawal, but the car's local custodian, Damian Cessario, has confirmed a replacement crew is on its way for the March 20-21 event.
