  • Um Linda the car looks slightly dirty because it is obviously being road tested thats what "Car of the year" is all about! So photos are obviously taken during the testing - so u cant expect them to brinng out a bucket of water and soap to clean the car every time it gets a dirty spec from the dusty track - can you!? Also the video clip does seem to be working it could possibly be an error on your computer? or maybe your connection?

  • If your trying to impress with this car it should have been washed, that is the first visual aspect of a car, there were just a couple of pictures of the inside all the rest were of the outside of the car, it was dead basic, I'm sure the price isnt dead basic! The video was even worse It was all broken up on the audio and i recieved no video. I am not a car enthuasiast. I look first, then inside appearance, then drive it to get the feel. I was disappointed on this one.

  • CAR OF THE YEAR in UK and Scotland here is the video review. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2a2JerrjOI 5 Star NCAP rating. http://www.euroncap.com/tests/ford_mondeo_2007/299.aspx "License to thrill" Looking at the COTY lineup, I think the 2007 Ford Mondeo would have won hands down if Ford had been wise enough to include all the extra options the euro version has like adaptive xenon head lights , adaptive dynamic suspension (automatically adjusts suspension based on the quality of the road for the best drive) and adaptive cruise control that can sense the car in front etc. These amazing features are not even optional for the aus version. Perhaps it may still win... as it has the best features in its class, looks great, 5 star NCAP safety rating, is fantastic value for money and you can tell it to do yr bidding(with optional bluetooth pack)!

  • This is a fantastic looking car. It's packed full of everything you'd want. I drive a BA Falcon & I'm waiting to see what Orion is like, before I upgrade to a new car, but based on what I've seen so far, I'm leaning towards the Mondeo in a big way.

  • "It's a nice car... but it's a Ford Focus" This is why you never trust comments on any website. Looks good its about time Ford had a serious competitor in a growing market.

  • There's a reason the Ford Mondeo is being touted as the 2007 European COTY. The Mondeo is a fantastic drive courtesy of excellent suspension, feels luxurious and with standard equipment including 6spd auto, 7 airbags, DSC, ABS, EBD and Traction Control from under $30k.What a bargain. Oh and what a great looker. It might not win the sales race but it should.

  • What do you mean Anthony? Its NOT a Focus...go google Mondeo and you'd find out its a brand new car developed by Ford Europe. It might be the underpinnings for the upcoming 2008 Mazda6 (Ford says its not) but this is not a Focus in any mechanical or product category sense. Actually, go sit in one and then find a Focus. You'd know what I mean.

  • It's a nice car... but it's a Ford Focus, and at the end of the day that's all that matters, and doesn't matter how many times you read the badge "Mondeo", it's still a Focus. i would buy it, but just wondering what Ford were thinking when they brought up the notion of the Mondeo again? The Focus is doing fine, but would the Mondeo eventually replace the Focus, that's what i'd like to know.
