New Elantra on sale

    The Elantra is on sale with a 1.8-litre petrol engine and six-speed transmissions.

The Elantra is already on sale.

But but that didn’t stop Hyundai from touting its newest addition as one of four cars to be unveiled before the end of the year.

The car was penned at Hyundai's North American Design Centre and the modern interpretation runs from swooping exterior lines to a stylish new cabin with a centre console with chromed metal and glossy piano black finishes adding an upper-class feel.

The Elantra is on sale with a 1.8-litre petrol engine and six-speed transmissions. The base Active with a six-speed manual starts at $20,590 and runs to $28,990 for the six-speed automatic Premium model.

  • Pretty face hides an ordinary drive and excessive price tag. Mazda 3 is much better.
