Carsguide takes a look at many of the vehicles that have been used in the Australian military. Photo Gallery

On Anzac Day we honour who served, and those who still serve, in the many conflicts Australia has fought around the world.

Carsguide would like to acknowledge an Anzac Day tribute to Aussies who are spending Easter serving as troops around the world, and to all those who have served in our Defence Forces through our proud military history. We salute you.

Thanks to Paul Handel and the Anzac Steel website for most of the images.

  • You should remake the original Jeep. I had one and I loved it.

  • It's the LandRover. Hands down. Operational since Vietnam, used as Ambulances and gun trucks. Used by SF, and RAAF. Served in Malaya to Iraq. It's everywhere.
