    The new Mercedes S-Class has some very big shoes to fill because the old one was just so good. It's also got to beat it's traditional rivals like the Audi A8 and Range Rover.

    Ever since the first S-Class arrived in 1972 it has always dominated the luxury car sector. Well, until it was recently deposed by the Range Rover. So can the new Mercedes S-Class gain its crown?
