New Mad Max: Fury Road trailer gives us our best look yet at the fourth instalment of the classic movie franchise.

The belated fourth instalment in the classic Mad Max series isn’t due in cinemas until next year, but this trailer offers the best look yet at the big-dollar post-apocalyptic production.

With Tom Hardy replacing Mel Gibson as Max Rockantansky, the new film also stars Charlize Theron and Australian model Megan Gale. However, Carsguide readers will probably be most interested in the return of the XB Ford Falcon hardtop-based Pursuit Special from the first two films.

It's unclear at this stage how much of a role the Pursuit Special plays in Fury Road, but this trailer proves it doesn’t last the duration of the film...

Still, 30 years on from the third film; Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome, Mad Max Fury Road looks to deliver the goods.
