I have recently read the letters from other Ford G6 owners regarding a vibration in the gearbox. I purchased my G6 earlier this year and after doing just 900 km I too heard vibrations in the gearbox when it shifts into the higher gears, but my dealer told me that the torque converter hadn't "adapted" to my driving style yet. I took his word for it and decided to put some more kays on the car and see if the vibration subsided. I have now done over 5000 km and the problem is still there. What should I do?
Go back to the dealer and have it checked, and don't believe him if he tells you it's because the transmission hasn't adapted to your driving style!
