Selling year-old Honda

I bought my Honda about a year ago, and it's now got 18,000km on the clock. I would like to sell it or swap it for something sportier from Europe, but I'm worried that I'm going to lose a lot of money on it. I also need to get rid of my loan on it. Any ideas?

You're right to be concerned, you are likely to lose quite a chunk of money on it after such a short period of ownership. It would be better to hold on to it for another year or two if you want to reduce the damage through depreciation. To find out what you might get for it as a private sale or as a trade-in go to one of the recognized car valuation websites, like Glass's or Redbook. There you'll find all of the information you need to make a good decision.
