Mazda CX-5: Is it a good replacement for a CX-7?

I have a Mazda CX-7 Classic for four years now and have been very happy over 140,000km. The only problem has been the boot space is a bit small and I have scratched the plastic over the wheel arches from placing a fold-up ladder in and out as part of my work. I am looking at changing, and am wondering what to buy. With three children 10-8-6, room at the back is quite important. I have been told the Mazda CX-5 is the way to go, but would consider something else that you can recommend.

You will struggle for space in a CX-5 as it's smaller than the CX-7. I would go for a Hyundai Santa Fe, which gets The Tick with seven seats, quality, a five-year warranty and lifetime capped-price service costs.
