    Crank or bearing failure on Landrover Discovery 3

    The turbo-diesel V6 in my 2007 Landrover Discovery 3 failed due to a crank or bearing failure. It will cost me $20,000 to put right, and I'd like to have Landrover Australia help with some of the cost. I feel completely let down by this event, it will probably mean an end to my dream of doing the big lap with my caravan. Can you help?

    The best approach is to contact Landrover Australia directly, but when you do make sure you are armed with as much information about the failure as you can. A report by a mechanic with specialist knowledge of Landrovers on what caused the failure would help your cause.
