Automatic shop doors can interfere with car electronics

Apparently certain electronic frequencies of sliding shop doors can interfere with some cars' electronics.

Is it possible that the automatic opening doors on a building can cause your car to not start?

Robyn says it can and she can prove it. She parked her 2005 Camry outside her local newsagent the other morning and when she got in to drive off, nothing happened.
