The exhausts are the giveaway to the next R car, which will be the flagship of the seventh-generation Golf lineup.

The hotrod Golf looks surprisingly understated despite big wheels and lowered suspension, but expect plenty of performance with 210 kiloWatts from a turbocharged engine including a 0-100km/h time better than 6.0 seconds.
