Alfa Romeo CXover: spy shot

An SUV will share the Giulia’s platform.

It’s Alfa’s first SUV, due to arrive (perhaps) in 2014, at roughly $60,000.

With the unloved 159 quietly ceasing production this month, Alfa Romeo has more holes in its line-up than actual line-up.

Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne has sent its successor, the Giulia, back to the studio, leaving the horrid Mito and the fine Giulietta.

An SUV will share the Giulia’s platform. Expect Q4 AWD, plus turbo diesel and petrol engines.
