The venue for the 2008 Australian International Motor Show, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, is located in the heart of Darling Harbour.

Darling Harbour is just a five to 10 minute walk from Sydney's CBD and is easy to reach by train, light rail, Monorail, ferry or car.

A short walk from Sydney's CBD

You can walk to Darling Harbour via pedestrian bridges from Market, Druitt, Bathurst and Liverpool Streets in the city and Union Street in Pyrmont.

There is also a dedicated pedestrian access ramp from Haymarket to the Powerhouse Museum and one from the Goldsborough Apartments to Darling Harbour from Pyrmont Street in Ultimo.

By train, bus or ferry

Take a train or bus to Sydney’s Town Hall station, and from there walk across the pedestrian bridge from either Market or Druitt Streets. Or you could catch a ferry direct to Darling Harbour. Plan your trip

Sydney Monorail and Metro light rail

The Convention Centre Metro stop for the monorail and light rail is located immediately behind the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on Darling Drive. Plan your trip

By car

Major car parks are located at Harbourside, underneath the Exhibition Centre and next to the Sydney Entertainment Centre. You’ll also find parking at the Star City and Pyrmont Street parking stations. Plan your trip
