Nissan is a famous japanese car maker, particularly renowned for its legacy of sports cars, including the mighty Skyline GTR. As an auto maker, Nissan has a range of vehicles through the small and medium segments, with such popular models as the Skyline, 200SX, Patrol and Pulsar. Recently the Tiida and Micra have also created a strong presence in the market. Utes are another of the Nissan range, with the popular Navara. The SUV X-Trail has been a solid performer for the brand. Nissan is most famously known for it's Z cars (current 370Z, classic 240Z, and 300ZX in the 90's) and the mighty R32 GTR; referred to as Godzilla after it was banned from super touring in Australia in the early 90?s. The GTR vs Porsche lap times of the Nurburgring were a major story for these cars in 2009. Nissan has had ups and downs in terms of reliability since it started selling cars in Australia in the 60s. But since the 90s their reliability has greatly improved along with their market share, especially in the performance market.
